She Lives! Just.

To say things have been crazy around here would be an understatement. Following on from this entry, I am still quite stressed out and therefore, still quite ill. It’s been particularly difficult to recover this time around because I’m also supposed to be working (hail science for understanding clients!) and as of three days ago, I’m back at university for what could very well be my last semester before I get a proper grown-up job!

Fry is Stressed! For those of you who aren’t approved readers or follow my locked Twitter account, my family have been living with us for the last month. There are a lot of perks to this, such as more money to play with because Sam’s only paying half of the rent, Mum cooks dinner every night (and they’re always delicious meals!) and having Wicket here means I get a lot more exercise than I otherwise would. But there are some pretty major cons as well… such as closing in on 26 and living with your parents! Haha.

I’m not as happy as I usually am to be back at university either. Because this semester is essentially just a credit grab so I can complete my postgraduate diploma, the papers I am doing do not interest me in the slightest. In fact, if I had the choice, I wouldn’t be taking them. They’re both behavioural psych papers and ignoring social psychology, it’s my least favourite area of the entire psychology discipline. Those of you who have been following me for a while may remember my rants about chickens/hens pecking keys for food in Skinner boxes. This is why I hate behavioural psychology!

I was enrolled in a criminology paper as well, but I decided to drop it when I came home from the first class on Tuesday with a bunch of doubts about the class. It was structured in such a way that attendance was pretty much mandatory, worth almost $2000, and not a necessary paper for my diploma. I was only taking it out of interest, and much of the content was things I had already self-studied. Ha. Look at me trying to justify a pretty solid choice to my blog readers!

Anyway, I thought I’d just pop in and give everyone who still reads this an update. I really hope things start looking up soon so I’ll be more inclined to blog… and not about all this super personal junk.
